Aurath Online is a free-to-read, quarterly digital magazine that was launched on 1 May 2021.  A week after going live, we were awarded the East Coast Radio DKS Stamp of Approval! A real feather in our cap, and one that we wear with pride!

 

The idea for this online publication came about as Indran, my (sometimes!) better half, and I were discussing the impact of the global pandemic on the ordinary South African. Sadly, the ramifications of the pandemic has left little room for luxuries, and it was on this that the concept for Aurath Online was born.

 

Our vision was to create an online platform that caters for women; an online platform that is entertaining, inspirational and empowers women to be that best version of themselves; an online platform that is absolutely free!

 

Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Co-worker…the hats that we wear are many! Juggling jobs, school runs, making dinner and still trying to remain sane, are just some of the things that we are tasked with daily. Throw into the mix crying toddlers and the dreaded loadshedding, and you wonder how you still manage to go through the days with a smile on your face! Sound familiar? Many of us have experienced at least a few of the scenarios above, and some even more!

 

Amidst the chaos and mayhem that surrounds us, we at Aurath Online hope to bring some semblance of normalcy and provide some much needed “me-time” for you.
